thankfully John Arrillaga is persistent as he had long offered to build this housing but he had been rebuffed by University leadership.  it has made a big difference to the coaches and their families.

on the pay, Shaw's quote is:  "Now, the school is paying closer to scale and also gives coaches on-campus living."

I don't think we are at scale and certainly nowhere near the schools in the AP neighborhood we now reside.  the link below gives an idea of what Alabama pays its football staff.

my guess is that our staff including Shaw totals what Saban pays his staff, but not including Saban salary
