I just got back from my 25th reunion, only to see us destroy Washington on Saturday, and I was thinking how great it has been the last two years to be a Stanford football fan.   I\'ve been a fan since 1981, and of course watching Elway was entertaining.  There were flashes of brilliance under Walsh II and Mr. Ungrateful.  But the last two years have been my favorite time to be a fan.  Watching Toby run over LBs last year was just a thing of beauty.  And the brilliant play of Luck and our hard-nosed battles in the trenches this year has been simply a joy to watch.

So, whatever happens I would just like to thank the coaching staff and the players for bringing one Stanford fan -- and his young sons -- a lot of happiness most Saturdays this fall.
