I hope he can and and does pull it off. I knew a former NFL player and college coach who appeared to have a good home life. It turned out not to be the case. David's wife and kids need a husband and father more than we need a winning football team. As Tip O'Neill said at my Stanford graduation, "No one says at the end of his life that he wished he had spent more time at the office."
