I love Ronnie Spector, Publius, and there's no question that Phil Spector was mean and crazy. But I wouldn't take everything in Ronnie's book at face value. Read Tearing Down The Wall Of Sound by Mick Brown for a more balanced perspective.

I've got to side with Ronnie.  As much as a songwriting/producing genius Phil Spector was.  He frickin' killed somebody.

Real shame that they had such a dysfunctional marriage.  Each of them did their best work together.  She was his muse. Of course, Phil's work outside of Ronnie is much more impressive than hers.  But he frickin' killed somebody.
