I think I'm a bit younger than most on this board, but I recently saw Macklemore perform in SF. It was a fantastic show. A little too much posturing, but he put on a great show. It was a full house and the energy from the audience made it even better. I'm a big fan of Macklemore, love his message and lyrics, and I suggest you check him out on Spotify.
One of the most amazing sets I've ever seen was from Wyclef Jean. I wasn't expecting much, as it was the first annual Voodoo Fest in New Orleans, under miserable skies, but I came away completely shocked at his guitar skills. He's not a great singer, but his hour long set was amazing. His music is really diverse and I hope I get the chance to see him perform again.Â
