Hah!  I saw all of those back in the day - Zasu Pitts, Big Bang Beat and Pride and Joy.  They were also staples at Corporate parties - at least the fun ones.  I think I saw Zasu Pitts at one of the last big Apple parties where they drew almost as many people as other guests Huey Lewis and an aging but still great Ella Fitzgerald.  I opted to Hear Ella but beat a quick path to the Zasu Pitts dance party after her set.

Apple used to have some GREAT parties.
