How much of a factor was the quality, or lack-there-of, of the officiating?

That is hard to say.  I've certainly witnessed much worse officiating in games we have won.  And  Kelsey Plum fouled out--so the calls did not all go against us.

On the other hand, Washington did get 31 free throws to our 20, which is very suspicious given the constant hacking at Chiney.  Allowing that much contact helped them shut down the inside game which forced us to attempt so many three point shots.  On the other hand,  the poor officiating did not make us miss those shots! If we hit our usual percentage then we would not be talking about poor officiating.
