I think me and GoodGrief already bestowed Honorary Asian status on you.  So will have to go the next level:  Honorary Manchurian.  If you want to go to the next level on tea, I recommend pu-er tea.  It's a fermented tea.  I'm sure you can find it the next time you venture to the San Gabriel Valley for Chinese food.

Actually, my children are Asian. My wife is Japanese. Her family is from Hawaii, so there's a strong Asian influence. Speaking of tea, my latest toy is a small thermos with a filter that allows me to bring my loose leaf tea to work. And because it was made in Japan, the tea stays steaming hot all day long. It's amazing.
