Equanimeous St. Brown appears to be an academically elite student-athlete.  He reports a 4.0 GPA and is quadralingual.  I have to think Stanford is a great fit for him.  Yet the 247 predictions have him joining Tristen Hoge (another academically elite recruit) at the university of cheaters in bumble Indiana.  What gives?

The LA Times is previewing the high school football season by highlighting top players in the Southland.  Yesterday's article was about Equanimeous St Brown.

Blame it all on John Brown, the father.  "My dad believes in names and numbers," St. Brown said. "He wanted to give me the most unique name possible so people would recognize me."
