During my time (87-91), Meyer was the social library, with a steady buzz of talking and people cruising around looking for procrastination partners. I was never the most focused studier, so that was the wrong environment for me. Whenever I chose a library in which to study, I chose Green.

Also, remember the Nerdy Walk of Shame? This had nothing to do with sorority girls and frat houses, but Meyer and Green. Meyer, I think, closed at eleven, but then you could walk over to Green, which shuttered at midnight, for that extra hour of studying.
