Football is just way more dangerous than soccer, CTE or not.

A football player on Long Island has died in connection with an injury suffered in a varsity game. More troublingly, 16-year-old Tom Cutinella became the third player in the span of one week to pass away following a gameday injury or afflication.

Earlier this week both Rolesville (N.C.) linebacker Isaiah Langston and Henderson (Ala.) cornerback Demario Harris died after collapsing on the field during warmups and in the second quarter, respectively.
