Reasonable minds can disagree, but count me as one of the believers of this line of thinking and a fellow hand wringer.

I would need to hear this argument in more detail to evaluate it properly.  My initial reaction is that Stanford should be able to create a high octane offense because it recruits well at QB.  If the argument is that the team lacks WRs, that may be based more on history than on current reality.  JJAW and Irwin would be a great WR class to add to a good existing stable.
