I haven't ever seen anyone say Reid is a better safety prospect than Farrar. He was certainly dinged by admissions. We probably need more than 2 safeties since Hoffpauir is probably gone. No way the coaches told Farrar sorry we don't have room for you. But you're correct that he could grow into a LB. 4-3 OLB, not a 3-4.

Yeah, at least both ESPN and Rivals have Farrar rated higher.  And considering we still don't have commitments from our other two DB prospects as well (Meeks and Buncom), there's no way this wasn't an admissions ding.  I don't really consider safeties and CBs at the high school level separate, Carter and Lyons both showed they can be moved around.  We currently have 1 committed DB in this class, we're better hope the other options still on the table come here.
