For someone from my generation, few TV stars were as universally adored. 

Dawn Wells died on December 30th at the age of 82.

True enough, though it would be Mary Ann Summers from Gilligan's Island.

Funny, I did a quick search and found someone who spelled it wrong and copied without double checking.  Marry Ann!
