I just checked out the December 2nd Bracketology from Joe Lunardi on ESPN, and Stanford is listed as the final team in Next Four Out, which I believe makes us #76.
Oklahoma, whom we handily defeated in KC, is a 10-seed and Butler, to whom we narrowly lost in KC, is a 5-seed. Future opponent Kansas is projected as a 1-seed.
In conference, Lunardi has Oregon and Arizona as 4-seeds and Washington and Colorado as 7-seeds. We play Oregon, Washington and Colorado home-away and Arizona home-only during the regular season.
With the exception of the KU matchup at Maples on December 29, the rest of our non-conference schedule consists of games that can only hurt us (@ SJSU, vs USF, @ Chase Center vs USD).

If there's one thing people have learned in Berkeley, it's that you can't put "Cal football" and "Rose Bowl" in the same sentence. The words just don't fit. You'd be better off linking "covered wagons" with "Mars travel." (Bruce Jenkins, SF Chronicle, Nov. 11, 2017)
