Davis likely out, too (in case you didn't click the tweet).  Was going to watch this one, but now I'm on the fence.

Those in the "fire Haase" camp should maybe think about how long it's been since this team had its full starting lineup healthy.  (Answer: the Arizona game on Dec. 19th, and Davis didn't finish that game).

Cancelled!  Get healthy, everyone (on our team, that is).

No wonder I couldn’t find the game on FS1. Silver lining. Like a rainout. Speedy recovery wishes to all.

Has the conference been clear about how/when cancelled conference games are being rescheduled?

I saw a tweet from USC that they would attempt to reschedule at a mutually convenient time.  I hope we don't end up with three games in one week--it's been hard enough to stay healthy at two a week.

And yet, Stanford might "need" that game vs. a quality opponent.

Is that gap between Feb 4 & Feb 11 real?   If yes, could imagine Feb 7 or Feb 8 if it works for USC.

Anyone who thinks we should fire Haase solely on the basis of the results in the last month has unreasonable expectations.  Fortunately, however, we don't need to rely solely on the last month to evaluate Haase.  My guess is that those in the "fire Haase" camp (of which I don't consider myself a member) probably felt that the prior four years, in which Haase had a sub-.500 conference record, meant that this needed to be the "no excuses put up or shut up year" for Haase.

Doesn't matter what we think. Muir's not gonna fire him no matter what happens, and I can see an argument for that given how much the team has had to deal with this season. I still think the bar is punching a ticket to the dance, and next year would have to be a must-get-a-bid year. I can't imagine how a coach would keep his job not making the tournament for six straight years

I don't know anyone in the supposed "fire Haase" camp -- I certainly don't count myself in it, even if it does exist -- but what was the excuse last season for the second-half slump? I know that the Stanford Athletic Department likes to claim that that squad was on its way to the Dance before the season got cut short by C-19, but nobody can convince me of that.

I say all of the above as a Haase apologist. I loved the hire, have loved his recruiting from day one and his approach to the game. But this is becoming a pattern that worries me -- his teams running out of gas almost every season. I'm not giving up on him or the team, just sharing what goes through my mind on this point.
