I was cheering for OSU because I always cheer for the underdog and I don't care for the courtside antics of the UCLA coach. However, it would have been better for Stanford if UCLA had won. Assuming Stanford doesn't have a meltdown they will be seeded higher (better) than UCLA. In this scenario Stanford wants UCLA to have the best possible resume.
The W-L record of OSU at this point is not of particular relevance to Stanford's seeding. Of course, OSU making the tournament helps the PAC-12 overall.
