Update: Missy at scorer's table. It's possible she's the alternate.

Totally pumped up and tense -- walking laps around the kitchen to relieve the tension.

Question: Who is Stanford's best defensive option to slow Aari McDonald? Anna Wilson?  And can Jones defend her without fouling? Perhaps a bigger body on McDonald can bother her?

Tough to say who the most talented player on the team is.  You can make a case for Williams, who is our lead scorer and most experienced player.  Jones might be the most versatile player, second on the team in points and our leading rebounder.  But she is also prone to turnovers (74 to Williams' 44 despite the fact that Williams is more of a ballhandler).  Williams is also probably a better defender.  And then, on a per minute basis, Brink probably beats everyone else, and give her another couple years and she will be a bona fide star.  But Brink is only averaging about 18 minutes a game, and is prone to foul trouble.

I want to see beautiful basketball today.  I hope the Cardinal bring their "A" game and show the world how great they are. And, I hope they have fun and win big.

Yup. Three of the Blue Hawk crew are in attendance.

Best seats Mini and I have ever had in our 20+ attempts to see a Cardinal team win a natty. Sixth row. Close enough to tell Lobo what I think of her commentary, but I'll save my voice for the game.

We have had enough close games.  I want us to dominate this game as we did on January 1.  Holiday blowouts--New Years to Easter.  Arizona is just happy to be here, while we have been waiting 29 years.  Go Card!

Three officials huddled together, stretching. Missy is one of them.

Big crowd advantage for U of A.

But that's the way it always is for Stanford. And the overall crowd size is reduced due to Covid.

Missy.  Bob has assured us that she is a much better ref than she used to be.  I take back absolutely every negative thing I have ever said about her.

I cannot believe they let Missy ref the NCG.  This could be embarrassing for women's basketball.

I just watched Jump make four 3s in a row during warm up.  I hope she gets some chances tonight.

Any idea of how they determined the order of the introductions?  Seemed random.
