Wow, Fred, you are one of Stanford’s great die hard WBBall fans. I love it! Thanks for sharing all the memories

I also noticed a link to a Spurs podcast hosted by Matt Bonner with Kiana as the special guest:

When the buzzer goes off, the team rushes the floor and this is also the best view of Prechtel taking Jana's noggin right in the (Van Gyten)beak. Jana doesn't even flinch, which bodes well as point guards have to be headstrong. I'm thankfully surprised that there aren't more injuries in these celebratory dogpiles.

The US Senate unanimously congratulated the team.

It does make me wonder if DiFi has a Stanford intern or low level staff member from Stanford this year, since this resolution is unusually detailed. Would not be a surprise considering her Stanford background, and her office's reputation for constituent services. (Has always done a good job with "cards and letters" as we termed it.) This feels a lot more like her office's work than Padilla's, which is too new to have mastered the finer touches of constituent services (and is from MIT, not a Stanford alum.) In any case, it is a nice touch.(04-17-2021, 02:12 PM)crackpot Wrote: How'd I miss this? https://www.feinstein.senate.gov/public/...t21319.pdf
