Ok so I put a deposit on season tickets last night for 2 seats. Pops ('65, MS '67) and I have decided that the family needs to have season tickets. My dad lives north of Seattle, I will be here in Tucson for at least another 3 years. I had many reasons for pulling the trigger on this.
1) I want priority for RB tickets, if that happens again this year, I donate but only a small amount to both the scholarship fund and the Buck Cardinal club. As a former student athlete I still am a bit down on the list (my two sports are not high priority, but I still get invited to student athlete events).
2) Dad and I have decided that we need to attend more games as we never have been to a home game together, only bowl games. We will most likely sell the majority of our tickets and keep the tickets for games we can go to based on time and money (for me).
Long and short is I want the tickets for the seasons, I will probably only attend 2 games a year, but it is worth it even if I do not break even on the secondary market on the games we do not attend.
A couple of questions though, do we know if the season ticket deposits will count for anything this year after the MSU fiasco? With these tickets I am happy to give the games I do not attend away at face value to those here or friends. Keep me in mind if you are, like us, an out of towner that will be in town during the season from here on out.
Finally, thank you all here for the great board I have been privileged to be on for a few years now, and thank you David Shaw for giving us all some of the best years of Stanford football any LSJU Alum has seen.

Heroism is not defined by one great act, but by a lifetime of right action.
