Notice the pitch is about sitting in the classroom next to someone else whose abilities or ideas will carry you along (in some undefined way ) if they like and remember you.

At Stanford the pitch also mentions being embedded in a whole class of focused, accomplished individuals, but the point of being in the class is to be the guy who can make his own mark and whom maybe other focused and accomplished individuals hope to associate with for success.  [Sorry, Yvonne. In this context it is "guys"  except for the classmates]

I hope Diron can adjust his pitch appropriately.

I know it's semantics, but I think it's unfair to Coach Reynolds to call him Coach Hart's replacement.  You don't replace one of the best and most accomplished DL coaches in the history of college football.

Coach Reynolds is Stanford's new DL coach.  If he's half as good as Coach Hart we will be in very good shape.  I'm glad he got to learn from the best for a year and I hope he can translate some of that into his coaching.
