In an otherwise rather silly article on ESPN, I was amused by this chart:
Percentage of games where BOTH teams scored over 30 points
Conference     Pct.
Big 12 Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â 34%
#Pac12AfterDark 33%
ACC Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â 21%
Big Ten         17%
Other Pac-12 Â Â Â Â 16%
SEC Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â 15%
Given that no Stanford game has been even close to reaching that level of scoring, you'd have to wonder if that could get us banned from the late games (please?).
In addition, the other Pac 12 games coming in at 16% would presumably be related to the point I noted earlier that there are more really good defenses than usual in the Pac 12 this year, though some notably horrible ones as well.
