There was another manufactured issue about the wording of a sign along El Camino, the details of which I have, mercifully perhaps,  forgotten.

That would be the Harbaugh era "We work" campaign - much maligned by Wilner as insensitive to the newly unemployed during the Great Recession. 

There was a period where Wilner was coming up with dumb takes every other week - Lopez twins only the third best front court in the Bay Area, Stanford D in Harbaugh's year three the worst in D1 history, etc.
