Sophomore LB Josh Barajas is transferring: http://www.onefootdown.com/2017/5/31/157...iana-irish

Apparently a special teams player, so a negligible effect on team performance.

If it frees up a scholarship for south bend, it's probably a net negative for everyone else.  Still, the brief summary of Barajas's position in the competition for MLB didn't sound all that bad--stuck behind a senior last year?  (Maybe the senior will claim a retroactive redshirt this year?)  Challenged by a true soph and a RS FR?  Sounds like par for the course, so maybe there's more that shows that Barajas wasn't cut out for the task.

Oh well.  South Bend is not a field of dreams.

Though, IIRC, the beach there is pretty nice...    ;)
