I'm going to pause my good-natured Cal ribbing to post this gut wrenching story of Cal middle blocker Savannah Rennie, who underwent a liver transplant for a congenital condition about two years ago, and now has to contend with post-transplant lymphoma.

I wish her the best for a full recovery; sadly the overall survival of patients with a post-transplant lymphoproliferative disorder (of which lymphoma is one type) is not great, though it has improved in recent years.

She was with cal at the wvb game at Stanford and stood the entire match.  A good sign I hope
