Here's the Big Game edition. If you worship at the altar of the Woofing Gods, look away. The rest will get some good information about the other side, as well as a surprise honor bestowed upon Gary T. Good stuff.

Nice work Hank.

(Also: Despite a wave of complaints recently about the board software, which to some extent I agree with, I'm inclined to give it a pass when it comes to Cal, given their refusal to spell "Stanford" correctly...)

Thank you Hank! It's always a pleasure to read these.

My only complaint about the board software is the damage it does to links. I could've sworn that was fixed ages ago, but it's easy to account for. So it's not even really a complaint. And you're right -- their refusal to spell Stanford correctly is rather odd.

Of note, the board software will fix the Cal-induced misspelling of Stanford to "the school I wish I had gotten into".

I've fixed it again. The fix got dropped in the last software reinstall.

The original link will work now, even though it looks censored: http://www.gomightycard.com/2017/11/blog...bears.html

"one Cal class after another who arrived in Berkeley with hope only to leave four years later with ashes in their mouths" pretty much sums it up.

Nice work once again, Hank.

My Big Game Mt Rushmore (from mid 80s on):
- Coach Shaw
- Coach Willingham
- Andrew Luck (made a Weenie's last name a VERB)
- John Hopkins (5 FGs in 1990, including the game winner)

Too much wiggle room.  That phrase presupposes admission.  May I respectfully suggest a more accurate alternative "the school to which I wish I had been admitted."
