Men's soccer will face 2 teams (UC Irvine and Akron) that they played in the NCAA tournament last season including the team that ended their 3 year reign (the Zips who would go on to lose in the finals).

The women start the season playing Penn State and West Virginia away but barely leave the state of California for the remainder of the season. A highlight is probably the annual match vs. Santa Clara, on the road this year. I also noted that the schedule makers finally broke up the USC and UCLA games so that they are not played 2 or 3 days apart.
