The last page of a thread is always the link next to the "next" link. I could probably change it to a pull-down menu, but how often do people look for specific pages within a thread?

That link isn't present in the small-screen (mobile) view. I should have said this was on my phone.

The new software is unusable (i.e., doesn't work) on Safari 11.1 running on MacOS 10.13.4. All you ever get is the portal page regardless of what you click on.

In Google Chrome all works as expected.

I had the same problem on my PC, regardless of browser (Firefox, Chrome, Edge, IE). After much frustration, I stumbled on a solution: Try going into the site by typing just the domain: thecardboard.com. Hopefully that will give you working links to the boards. 

I was pulling my hair out trying to get into the board using my old shortcuts, which were set to go directly to the main board. This would invariably take me to a version of the portal page where none of the links worked. Eventually, I tried a browser that did not have a shortcut to the CardBoard. So I typed in thecardboard.org and hit enter. This took me to the portal page again, except the links all worked. I tried this approach in my usual browsers and it worked with all of them. I redid all shortcuts using the new address for the main board. Works now.

Sorry, but it does work with Safari/MacOS. That's what I'm using.

I am not seeing any avatars on my Macbook Pro using Chrome. Is this a setting in the CP?

UPDATE: I changed my avatar in the CP to an uploaded versions and now I can see it. My old avatar was a URL to an online image. It appears that .gif images do not work as avatars.

Last night I got in on my desktop by going to Last Post, clicked on the users name who posted, went to the bottom of their profile, looked at quick links, clicked on active mode, and then chose view full version. I then tried to send a private message to BobbK and it said BobbK's PM mailbox is full! But I saved the draft.

The board isn't available via https at all. I guess your browser vendor is trying to indirectly exert social pressure to get sites to enable https. Enabling https is a good thing to do, especially for sites that require a login. No idea how easy or hard it would be for us on the hosting site we're using...

I don't usually use safari, but my primary desktop is a MacOS 10.13.4, and I just tested it with Safari 11.1 and it worked fine. Check and see if you have add-ons or aggressive cookie controls? I have many of those extensions added to other browsers and some user-sign-in websites don't play well with them.

I love that we have embedding in general, but sometimes it breaks up the flow of the post, and there are times when I'd like to leave it for the end, like a footnote or addendum, or even omit embedding altogether because the link, while useful, isn't central to the point I'm trying to make. I believe this is because the old version allowed me to log in with my email address (daybreak...) and the new version does not. I also discovered (after a few days) that if I don't log out and then log in again, the links to the boards on the main page don't work. There may be others with this problem who think (as I did) that the board is not up and running yet.
