Anyone able to attend?   I know Frosh Schultz hit a HR.

She did In the second game. First game she hit 4th and was 0-3.  All the Frosh player except for Klingaman who is not cleared yet because of a hamstring. They freshman played well. Molly (pitcher) got hit a lot. I think pitching will be the factor.

While it would be nice if Molly is ready to pitch as a freshman, as Bob points out, we have Maddy, Carolyn, Nikki and Kiana, who are all solid. What we really need is Taylor's production in the outfield, along with production from the freshmen utility players as well. Hopefully, Taylor is able to heal from her injury. Good to hear Emily Schultz is already off to a great start.

As Bob also points out, we need a bit tougher non-conference slate, along with a few more Pac-12 wins this year, to really be in the conversation for an NCAA berth.

Great swing. Nice to see that power again from our lineup, after several years lacking as much pop.

Pitching for Team Mizuno Impulse, they finished 9th nationally. Tatum went 13-2, 1.07 ERA, 0.84 WHIP, .138 Opp BA. She also hit .344 against the nation’s best teams this past summer. Starting her softball competition early, she was 12U World Series MVP.

And SoCal's Lexi Campbell

Big news visiting in 2 weeks is # 21 player, Alana Vawter, P/UT. She is down to Texas or Stanford
