Box score shows Dijonai challenged today. Also, are we not taking advantage of our height?

The old rule that "the hand is part of the ball" seemed to be interpreted to mean anything below the elbow was part of the ball! Many of those turnovers would have been reach-in fouls in another game. But we might have benefited too--Alanna had only 2 fouls. If they had called the game tight it might actually have been worse for us on a day that no one other than Alanna was scoring.
to my eyes, buffalo has an outstanding defense. they switched well and quickly. we had very few uncontested shots.
we also looked quite sluggish. they were much quicker on defense. our team today would have lost to tennessee by 20.
in addition, the refs strongly favored buffalo. buffalo knocked it out of our hands a dozen times and not one was called a foul. we stand still on a drive to the basket and are repeatedly called for the foul.

19 turnovers against this team is bad but 12 on steals. Horrors. Not good at all
We were outscored on second half points 16-8. That stinks
However 18 assists on 23 made shots is great.

Tennessee: We beat Tennessee just this Tuesday, after the most recent week's rankings came out.
Baylor: Tennessee game not considered yet, plus some inertia. We were ranked way behind Baylor before the game against them, having just lost to then unranked Gonzaga, while Baylor was undefeated and highly regarded. Our win moved us up and Baylor down, but not enough to put us above them.

We were already ahead of Tennessee last week (#8 vs. #9). We passed both Baylor and Mississippi State (thank you, Oregon).
