Troy Clardy and Tank Williams hosting.  You can find a link on the Stanford Football Facebook page.

Noteworthy from the 10 minutes I watched:  JJAW ran unofficial 4.38 and 4.40 in his 40-yd heats, faster than Brandt-Sims.  Alfieri looks incredibly buff.  Chryst ran a 4.8 and change.

Irwin and Love not running today.

EDIT: JJAW's official 40 was 4.49 and IBS was 4.47. Alfieri ran a 4.49 too.

Curious: why is Chryst at our Pro Day and not Tennessee's? Not that I don't welcome him as one of ours (good contributor, left for understandable reasons), but would have thought he'd be in school there.

Great times by JJAW by the way!

He actually got to play here.

For the record, he played at Tennessee too (threw 2 TDs against Alabama) and participated in both pro days.

His hometown is still listed as Palo Alto so that might have something to do with it as well.

I don’t have any issues with him participating. It’s not like he took a slot intended for someone else.

Chryst brother is the Palo Alto HS QB.

Nice of these guys to show their support: https://twitter.com/CalJoySeid/status/11...3369068544

As for Chryst, it makes complete for someone who's a fringe prospect to take every opportunity to to get in front of NFL team. And there's no downside to Stanford of having him participate. This is a good sign that our staff isn't petty enough to hold a grudge (assuming they didn't want Chryst to transfer).

Does anyone know if Brennan Scarlett participated in Cal's Pro Day? That would be interesting to hear.

Chryst left because he wasn't going to play at Stanford. No ill will between him and the staff.  You don't see Casey Tucker at Pro Day because he left for different reasons.

Terrence Alexander as well, although both of these guys’ pro days were just a week earlier. No idea how much recovery and prep it takes in between. Chryst had 3 weeks.

Is it a joke for Isiah Brandt-Sims to have participated in an NFL pro day? Something he wanted to do for fun? In four seasons, 2 catches for 26 yards and 5 special teams tackles doesn't seem to suggest someone with an NFL future.

I don't have any problem with him or anyone else being there. Just kind of curious why IBS would be given his pro football prospects seem quite bleak to be charitable.

Seems like something you do with your brothers as a "last ride" kind of thing. We've seen guys with pretty much no NFL future participate every year; they don't really have anything to lose!

I'm frankly shocked at JJAW's times. Wow.
