Nice summary Bobb! I have a soft spot for any athlete whose nickname is Peanut.
And the Athletic article on Susan and Whalen is great. Susan one of my all time faves.

An update from Oregon. The younger Sabally has torn her ACL for the second time. Very sad

This game would be so much more fun were it not for ACL injuries cutting short the careers of so many players. What kind of a player would Beebe have been? How would we have done last year if Fingall had stayed healthy? And of course, there is the most infamous season of all in 1997-98, with the game that I will not mention, that involved 2 ACLs to our stars in a week :(</p><p><br></p><p>I am sad for Nyara Sabally :(<br></p>

</p><p><br></p><p>Interesting. Anyone notice at the end of the article it mentions that Sedona Prince is seeking immediate eligibility? She was the No. 8 player in 2018--at 6'7". She went to Texas, turning down UConn etc. As far as I can tell, she did not play at Texas--I can't find a stat line for her. She announced she is transferring to transfer to Oregon from Texas on July 6.</p><p><br></p><p>Oregon seems to jettison players that it no longer wants, and then picks up new ones from other teams, like Boley and Prince. I don't like this trend. Reminds me too much of pro teams.<br></p>

Prince has a serious broke. Leg before the season at Texas. Not sure when she will be ready to play.
I don’t believe your theory of jettisoning players. However when you read my usc story you might
You forget grad transfer Minyon Moore now at Oregon
