Buried pretty deeply on the Stanford WWB website, but it was announced yesterday that Lexie and Kiana were both named to the first team Academic All District team for District 8. Each of 8 districts has 5 1st team members, so 40 in all nationally. In District 8, the five were Lexie, Kiana, Slocum and Pivec from Oregon State, and Chen Yue from Cal. Pretty darn impressive that, like OSU, Stanford has 2 of the 5. Congrats to both Lexie and Kiana. We should be proud of them for their class-room work as well as how great they are on the court. Now . . . tonight, Stanford vs OSU, looking forward to seeing 4 of the 5 face off·

That is fabulous!  I guess they felt they could not give us 5/5, however much our players probably deserve it!
