The Santa Clara county tracking dashboard has been pretty stable for a week in terms of hospitalizations, and we are only using about 1/3rd of available ventilators (200 out of 600). At what point would it make sense to send some of them to other parts of the state or country where they can save lives?

100  ventilators is a drop in the bucket compared to what NJ needs. I hope others can find spare machines as well.

Interesting that the California National Guard flew the machines to their destinations. I guess Newsom wasn't going to let anyone else get their mitts on the machines.

I had thought that maybe the SCC supply of ventilators might drop as a result of the shipment.  Instead, it has crept up.  On March 30, there were 611 ventilators, now 645.
