So this is a thing now, huh?
How far away are we from SAs calling a news conference saying they're changing their major?

Well, Graves already picked up a guard:

Is he collecting guards? Or is Carrington going someplace else?

Well, her brother spent 3 years at Oregon but his off-field issues probably caused him to leave. Still, I would rather not face her 3-4 times next year in the Pac-12 + postseason.
And of course, I can't abide the thought of Geno getting his mitts on any more talent than he already gets, although he probably needs her the most to provide leadership to a young team.
So I guess that means I root for Baylor/Mulkey.
Yuck.

Best wishes to her. But beginning to understand why there may have been fit issues.
Thank you, next.

My guess is that it's Baylor. They only have nine on scholarship right now including the two incoming freshman (Gusters and Andrews).

Congrats to her, though as someone acquainted with Waco, I think she's going to miss the Bay Area for a year while she's rubbing elbows with Chip and Joanna Gaines. They do have a team and a coach though!
(At this point, who knows whether there will be a season...or an on-campus semester.)

For her sake, I hope it turns out well, bug from all I've read from forme Mulkey players, she may find she changes her perspective on Tara. Just my perspective.

Per her instagram, she confirms what we all thought:
She planned on coming back, but there were no scholarships, and by the time one opened up, she had already decided to transfer.

I am not a fan of Baylor, the institution or the team, so cannot root for their success, though I do wish her well, good health especially. I don't get it, but it is not for me to get, it is her life.

Well, at least for someone who wants to be a criminal profiler, should be a very insightful year...

Whew. The least objectionable of the three possibilities, from a Stanford fan's perspective. We might even get through a year without playing Baylor, no?
Carrington has earned the right to do whatever she wants. She was here for four years, she graduated, she gave part of her health to our team. She gave us wonderful performances and great memories. I hope she has personal success.
All that said, I do question why a Stanford educated woman would want to play for Kim Mulkey. I still believe there is another story that we may never know.

Part of me wonders if she felt she deserved the scholarship over Wilson, and if Tara giving it to Wilson ticked her off a little bit.
Kudos to Tara to giving it to Wilson, who had applied first. Many coaches would simply choose the better player.

The last scholie was Moschkau, right?
Sounds a bit like the MBB situation with Emeka Okafor a few years back.
What a shame if it really was a case of bad timing.
