So crazy that a county health official's press conference and official order could become a topic on a sports board.   And yet here we are.

Dr. Cody's messaging must be an impossible task.  She has to worry about aligning with Gov Newsom.   She also has to anticipate likely tweets and counter messaging from POTUS45, AND she has a number of the world's largest businesses to worry about too.

If she does enough or too much everyone will say she did too much and held back growth.   If she does too little thousands of families will lose loved ones and millions more are likely to suffer financial hardships from the cost of battling COVID.

Now that Santa Clara county has an NFL team playing in the county, my guess is ESPN will highlight anything relevant to sports.
