I recall in 2018 & 2019 here in the OC I would talk with people that would proudly point out that we were so lucky Jared and Ivanka were volunteering their time.   And that getting them was much better than paying money to political operatives.   This was generally said in response to any "lame stream media" stories about nepotism.

For any other POTUS administration I would say the story on CNN was a hoax or a joke, but as Jared has said things on the record with a similar vibe this year I am inclined to believe CNN over the inevitable POTUS45 administration denials.

I know the 1918 Flu pandemic was a different virus, but the parallels are quite similar. You didn't need doctors to read up on the 1918 pandemic, and learn it was likely there would be a big resurgence in October. I haven't seen the data on this, but I would imagine the only reason the spike didn't happen sooner in October was because of warming climate pushing it out a couple weeks.

And as for Jared and Ivanka "volunteering" their time, how naive can people be?  They weren't volunteering for shit. They were leveraging their positions into financial gain, which is suppose to be a crime that gets people who do so charged and sent to jail.

True.  But it nicely captures the Anti-Trump Obsession that has gripped a significant part of the population.  Only 1.5 weeks to go before The Obsession Syndrome begins to fade (or so we can hope).  

Another benefit:  a media not being agenda-driven when reporting the news.  I have no doubt a bunch of Biden troubles will be attributed to Trump - and rightfully so in some instances, particularly virus-related - though I am also hoping for more objective reporting on virus impacts.

It literally is a link that describes the true POTUS45 COVID mitigation plan.   

Sure, it would have been nice for him to say that POTUS45 has received the CDC guidelines for states opening back up and will offer his full throated endorsement of those policies, but that wasn't the plan. 

The plan, per Jared's description, was to take control back from the doctors.   To get the economy up and running for a strong Q3, etc. etc.   Because with 40,000 deaths the worst was over.   

Those hopeful for better COVID management in 2021 should understand the May-August zaniness was the actual POTUS45 family plan and that was with some concern about re-election.
