Twenty seconds is a long, long time in this context. I am also interested to learn of still another fusion project in another country. There must be dozens around the world.
I don't expect to live to see these projects come to fruition, nor do I expect them to come on line without controversy, Climate change ahs gone too far for this to be of immediate effect.
Nor do I expect the catastrophism that afflicts the educated elite of this society to be in any way reduced. No one will have second thoughts. By that time, another sacred cow will be mooing in the herd, most likely population implosion.
And relating this to covid, my bet is that a century from now, this will be what matters to history, and not the pandemic - an interesting footnote.

I wouldn't give you two cents for all your fancy rules if, behind them, they didn't have a little bit of plain, ordinary, everyday kindness - yeah, and a little looking out for the other fella, too.
