In 50 years people will look back and wonder why such idiotic laws were enacted.I agree it is a non-problem. However, given the number of idiotic laws that have been enacted over the years I doubt anyone will wonder why this one was. Fixing non-problems is a politicians bread and butter. When it turns out to not be a problem they can take credit for "solving" it.
As a matter of natural law, men have a right to:
- fantasize about being women;
- think of themselves as women;
- dress as women;
- adopt what they deem to be women's names;
- request that others think of or refer to them as women;
- prefer the company of women;
- castrate themselves or undergo other voluntary, surgical modifications; and,
- ingest chemicals to whatever ends they deem suitable to their purposes.
Mind you, none of the activities above can actually make a female of a male, but it is none of my concern if any male chooses to conduct his affairs in such a manner.
Also as a matter of natural law, however, women have a right to associate with whom they please, including in athletic competitions. Accordingly, women may choose to exclude men from their athletic competitions, and no man has a right to force them to do otherwise.
Any laws in conflict with these principles are indeed idiotic.
