If Oregon loses to Oregon State, and Washington State wins next week, the Pac-12 north will have a three way tie at the top with each team being 5-3 in conference. The tiebreaker would give Washington State (who only became bowl eligible this second to last week of the season) the north title because of a better in-division record. Oregon only needs to win to get in. Oregon State needs to win and have Washington State lose.
Anyway, I looked at the pre-season media poll and Oregon was the runaway pick to win the north, while Oregon State was #5 and Washington State was dead last at #6. Stanford was picked to finish #4, but we've already secured last place.
