During the game a graphic of PAC 12 missed tackle stats appeared with guess who leading the pack. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that after the Big Game Stanford has lengthened its lead.

In 2015, our 12-2, #3 finish year, that average was 223.6

There's an ample supply of mind-blowing stats that document that this is an epic season. Take your pick:
- I was channel surfing and landed on the Pac-12 Network, having no intention of seeing any replays of yesterday (I had the pleasure of being there in person.) The chyron that listed scores from yesterday and the key points stated Stanford's rushing yardage was 43, adding that this was the third time this season that Stanford was held below 50.
- Chyron also noted that Cal's 636 total yards of offense was a Big Game record.
- Here's another stat that bothers me. I had known the longest pass reception in Big Game history was Brian Johnson (yes, the former Giants catcher) to Walter Batson for 82 yards in 1987. The operative word now is "was". That slant pass in the second quarter went for 84 yards, and hence Johnson-to-Batson is relegated to the dustbin of history.
