I'd say MGym, but I wouldn't rule out WGolf if Brooke Seay is healthy. No Rachel Heck but they still have four very strong players (Rose Zhang, Seay, Megha Ganne, and Sadie Englemann). MGolf won in 2019 with really only two players of similar caliber.

Best chance is MGym. I wouldn't worry about the drop in ranking as a lot of their top gymnasts have been away recently at national team events. They're healthy and should win ncaas by multiple points (cue the woofing gods).
Next is WWP. Undefeated though play ucla today. They are favored but scores always tighten up in the postseason. I can't remember the last time we won a no stress championship game in wwp.

Men's gymnastics seems as close to a lock as there ever has been, but you still have to play the game. Women's WP seems next most likely, but getting to the final match and winning will be no walk in the park. If the Women golfers can make the match play round, I like their chances. Same can be said of the Men's team. It isn't out of the question for Baseball and Softball to make runs to the championship rounds. Spring sports seem to offer a lot more chances than Fall and Winter. Of course, Women's tennis is always a possibility as they have proven more than once to be able to bring their A game late in the Spring.

The next meet is the MPSF Championship on April 1st. I wonder if Thom Glielmi will finally put his All Star lineup minus Colt. Will he turn the dial and increase the difficulty of some routines?

Today, the WWP team was in a back & forth match with UCLA. Stanford was up 2 early, but UCLA came back time & again. UCLA took a 2 goal lead in the 3Q, but Stanford tied it up in the final few seconds of the 3rd. Fortunately the rain started in the 4th. No, not precipitation but a rain of Stanford goals. Stanford built a 4 goal lead, scoring 5 goals to UCLA's 1 with 3 minutes to go. At that point, the game is over. Stanford added an empty-net goal for a 18-13 win. Stanford's 4th was apparently great defense AND great offense.
Unfortunately, I was driving during the whole game, but managed to listen to the Stanford Live Stream over my phone. (Sigh.... I wish for the days when we had a knowledgeable water polo announcer. He's gotten better but still...)
Stanford has beaten Cal 3 times, UCLA and USC each once. 14-0 this season (2-0 conference), 25 straight wins. But these games have not been easy. Stanford isn't a shoo-in for the NC, but they are the clear favorite at this point. But they still have conference games against USC and Cal so might not even be seeded 1st in the MPSF conference tourney.

From what I can see everyone is doing their full routines. Malone might be down one or two skills because he has only done two meets, but definitely doing his full rings routine. There is no dial to turn. Usually at championship meets you remove what you are doing poorly. You don't want to lose more points than the skill is worth.

From what I can see everyone is doing their full routines. Malone might be down one or two skills because he has only done two meets, but definitely doing his full rings routine. There is no dial to turn. Usually at championship meets you remove what you are doing poorly. You don't want to lose more points than the skill is worth.

MGym it is! 47 years and counting. It relieves some pressure from spring season teams. Here's hoping we get 2+ more championships this school year.
