The college sports shuffle is a con, and the athletes always lose - The Washington Post
Mandel states that Fox will not pay the big10 to add Stanford and Cal since they won't increase the revenue stream, and the other big10 schools don't want to share, regardless of academic prestige. He also feels in time there will be super conference of the top twenty of so teams.
Both writers feel the ACC will eventually collapse.
