Stanford 6. 4 of top 6 are Pac 12 5 of top 10
I love it. Notably, we are ahead of LSU and UCONN. Let's hope we keep moving up as we pick off the Pac-12 quiters.

The Pac-12 is in the midst of a fantastic start as the league has opened 28-0 against all comers, including wins over Indiana, LSU, Ohio State, Gonzaga, and Villanova.
It remains to be seen how long the league will remain undefeated with some stern tests coming this week #21 Baylor hosting #4 Utah, Auburn hosting California, and Duke visiting Maples this week. Of course, there's the chance that an unexpected surprise will happen elsewhere along the way.

In the AP poll Colorado moved up 15 spots to #5; above Stanford. It will take a few more weeks for these polls to have enough data to make sense. With four PAC-12 teams in the top six current ranking, conference play is looking to be more competitive than non-conference.

How about an all Pac-12 final four in the last year of the conference. That would be amazing and quite a shame.

I just watched the full game of CO v LSU on YouTube. It's worth the time. CO is playing a tight, physical game and pushed the pace on LSU.

A great dream, but the NCAA gods could set it up so the top pac 12 teams know
each other out before the final four.
Two PAC-12 teams made the Final Four in 2016 and 2021. I'm hoping Washington State is able to sneak in, but it would be great to have at least two teams in the Final Four. Massey doesn't have enough information to be accurate at this point, but it has 8 PAC-12 teams in the top 25, with Oregon State at 26th. Massey Ratings - Pacific Twelve Conference

This is off topic but I'll put it here for lack of a better place. Haley Cavinder announced she is transferring to TCU as a grad student. Emma-Nnopu and some other big time players transferred to TCU (NIL running rampant?) so Cavinder may find herself warming the bench.
Article came out today but I don't see her on the TCU roster so not sure if Cavinder didn't get on this year's published school roster in time.
"As a businesswoman, she’s excited to see what type of opportunities there might be in the portal", Jeff Hoffman, Haley’s agent, told On3.
The priorities seemed to have gotten a little messed up in college sports. I wonder what her TCU teammates think of the businesswoman's reasons for joining the team.

They won’t care if she helps them win . FYI, I see where Agnes had a double double in one blow out win. 14 points, ten rebounds, four steals and three assists. Not against great competition but one heck of a stat line

She received great coaching at Stanford.

as long as we're writing about transfers out, indya nivar is the back-up point guard at unc.
in the close second game against davidson, she had 7 points, 4 rebounds, no assists in 14 minutes.
in the blow-out first game win against gardner-web she had 17 points, 11 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 turnovers, 2 steals in 23 minutes. and this highlight-reel buzzer beater
