No he was not. Something to do with academic ineligibility. I agree, he is a player with swagger that the team desperately needs. I would not be surprised if he cracks the starting line up soon

While true, I suspect there will be severe regression to the mean soon. He shot 6/8 from 3 with only one 2 pointer today. Not sustainable long term.

No doubt he will not consistently shoot this well. However he was an excellent prospect coming out of HS who will be a top player for us.
Just hope he stays around for awhile.

Just an outstanding game, coming at a good time. If he keeps it up, it might save Haase's job...

Stanford's win over Arizona got some coverage in the Athletic's top 25 power ratings roundup article. Stanford was credited with a "smart game plan" that exploited Arizona's defensive scheme, in which Arizona's big center drops way into the paint. The article even has video clips of three plays that show how it worked.
Of course there is a paywall. I definitely recommend a subscription. Of course not for Stanford basketball coverage, mostly for pro sports.

Because the upcoming LA schools (away) on Wed and Sat will soon be a big test of whether the AZ win was a one time aberration, or a statement that we have found a groove, a zone, and are now consistently tough & talented, and will come out strong against anyone anytime.

As we head into the ACC, it's pretty nice to see Stanford MBB earn an 18 point victory over Arizona given that Duke lost to them earlier this season in Cameron.
