Shaw was too busy to watch Williamson freaking out behind the bench on the last drive, so I really can't blame him for ending the game like every other sane coach in America would. They could have run one more play, and I would have run one more play just to burn clock, but a 32 yard field goal from dead center is about as good as it gets for the win. Jacktree, I totally agree. In the aftermath of something like this, everyone has 20/20 hindsight (I know, I know, all the people who say "I knew at the time he should have..."), but would everyone be saying this if, say, Luck goes to hand the ball off to Taylor and it ends up on the ground? Or Luck tries a pass in the end zone and it is tipped and ends up an interception? Then the thread runs something like: "How could Shaw be so stupid? Didn't he see the Bears/Broncos game a few weeks ago when the Bears tried to run for a few extra yards of field position and fumbled?"
