Just confirms what we already know:

Overall, the parents' and students' lists are similar except for a couple deviations: parents ranked ND #4, ahead of schools like MIT, Brown, Columbia, etc. Is that just all the Catholic parents in the country being myopic? Students didn't even list ND in their top 10. On the other hand, UCLA and Ca.l both made the student top 10, but not the parents. Perhaps the student poll skewed toward CA more than the parent version?
I will admit to being surprised that Stanford beat out Harvard, especially in the parent poll. I thought it was a universal truth that Haaaaahvaaahd will always play a certain role as THE elite American university. It's good to see that people aren't so stuck on traditional ideas.
