Stanford freshman G Christian Sanders out for year

Okay, let's review the bidding.
Andy Brown -- out for good with 4th ACL problem.
Rosco Allen -- out for 6 weeks with shin injury.
Christian Sanders -- out for year with hip injury.
Looks like Stanford bball has turned into C.al fball [with the obvious exception that, at this time next year, Sonny Yikes will still be around...]
Also looks like a [very] bad year to be a Stanford men's bball ticket scalper...

About the only good thing I remember about the Buddy/Wlat years is that a few scalpers went out of business...

What's wrong with the scalpers? They're just taking advantage of institutions' unwillingness to price discriminate.

but they have... clear premium for the "in demand" season tickets (Cal, Arizona, UCLA) this year, with much lower prices for tickets to WSU, OSU, etc.
