Kerosene has a relatively low flash point and is categorized as a CLASS IIIA combustible liquid.  It seems to me that a decision of this nature would be more like pouring Biodiesel on a hot seat (lower flash point and goes in line with the up and down Washington state biodiesel mandates).  With this in mind, I am uncertain as to the actual surface temperature of the seat itself. 

A hotter seat would affect the reaction considerably so I guess the question is how hot the seat is.  I can't believe it's too hot only 2 games into the year.
