I'm quite curious how many points ND's seven best friends are worth in terms of points.  You could almost argue seven, because the favorable treatment they get from their friends always seems to result in a seven point swing.

No less than Bill Walsh and Jimmy Johnson both have said you can't play close games at ND, because if you do, you are at great risk of being boned by officials.  We saw this in spades in 2012 and 2010 respectively.

Maybe Stanford will uncork a deep passing game this weekend in a concerted effort to put more points on the board in a desperate attempt to avoid the close game scenario.

Haha.  Be very careful.  On three different occasions in the last two years I have looked at an o/u or a line and thought I was 99% confident of the outcome.  I was wrong all three times.  I was *sure* the Falcons were going to beat the Vikings by at least 3 points last week.

I thought the same thing as you when I saw that.  Which basically guarantees each team will score 24+.

I believe I speak for the majority of the board when I say that we regard CrazedZooChimp's loss of a thousand bucks on the over-under as a worthwhile price to pay for Stanford putting up 45 points.

Hey, the last time I placed a bet of any size on us was 2009 against U$C, to win.  It was quite a nice payout considering they were something like a 10 point favorite.

And I didn't even get any bonus for us putting 50 on those *************.
